what are my options of elf gods for a cleric? Question I'm considering playing an eladrin cleric, but the thing that's stoping me the most is even knowing what are my deity option. I'd prefer to have something that helps me develop the character more than picking one of the universal gods in FR.

Bow Wielding Elf Cleric. Hey guys, I played a one shot recently levels 1-3 and had a lot of fun with a bow using war cleric. Create the cleric as an elf. Elves all have a racial proficiency with long swords and short swords. Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow. (SRD, p. 4). I would recommend a woof elf, if you want to boost the initial wisdom score by 1, but any kind of elf will suffice.

Elf is not the optimal race for it, but it works fine. Optimally Warforged is the best because you can combine it's +1 AC bonus with the +1 AC bonus from the 1st and 6th level abilities of the forge cleric and end up with an AC of 23 with full plate and a shield, and take the dodge action every turn (once spirit guardians is set up) to make.
